Circular approach
Circular logic guides our decisions
We consider circularity at every stage: from the first sketch, through material choices and production, to how a solution is used in a space and cared for over time.
Intentional design
A winding path through the forest, a coastline shaped by the waves, the world around us is where we find our inspiration. That same sense of calm, of standing still inside something in constant motion, guides how we design.
Circular design
A checklist behind every decision
From the first sketch to the last repair, we design for what stays in use, not what gets replaced.
Our circular design checklist guides decisions on material sourcing, manufacturing, transport, use, and end of life. It is a structure built into the process from day one, letting us question every decision in the same way. It's how we weigh recycled content against virgin material, evaluate every added part, and design for disassembly.
It's a process so that we continue to explore new ways when developing new products and refining existing ones.

How circularity shapes our process
Circular logic runs through every stage of our process.
Materials are selected with their next use in mind. We consider how materials can move through biological or technical cycles: how materials such as wood, cork, and wool can be recovered through appropriate biological pathways, and how aluminium, steel, and plastics can be reused, repaired, remanufactured, or recycled.
Constructions are built for access, so components can be replaced or upgraded without discarding the whole. Surfaces are chosen for their ability to be restored on site. And once a configuration is installed, our work continues. We support our partners with guidance on how to maintain and extend its service life.
Through spatial reconfiguration, the solution adapts to a space's changing needs, rather than being replaced by it.

Impact & Responsibility Report 2025
Our first Impact & Responsibility Report offers a look at how circular thinking shapes our materials, our process, and the way we work with suppliers and partners. It's an honest account of where we stand today, and where we're headed next.
